Route 4 - A Dreadful Journey (2021)

As a media team, the production company Boxfish accompanied the rescue ship Alan Kurdi of the association SEA EYE for over15 months on various missions in the Mediterranean Sea. From the over 80 hours of footage, they produced a 51-minute documentary film, which I wrote and directed.

Driven by the material, the film focuses mainly on two themes: the catastrophic conditions in Libya and the personal experiences and stories of the people seeking protection.
